Epsom salt is a type of magnesium sulfate (MgSO4) derived from magnesium chloride (MgCl2). It is usually sold as Epsom salts or magnesium sulfate powder. Epsom salt is a naturally occurring mineral found in abundance in the waters of the United Kingdom. It is a soft white crystalline powder commonly used to help relieve pain and inflammation in the body. Epsom salt is also used to soften water and make it more appealing to drink.   • 1/2 cup or 1 cup Epsom salt 
  • 2 tsp baking soda 
  • 20 drops of eucalyptus essential oil 
  • 15 drops of peppermint essential oil 


  • Put Epsom salt and baking soda in a container; you can use a funnel to avoid mess. 
  • Enhance the goodness with essential oils. 
  • Store it in an airtight jar. 
  • While taking a bath, fill your bucket or tub with hot water and mix 4-5 tsp of bath salt.

  • Pour the salts and baking soda carefully into the jar; take a funnel if possible. 
  • Infuse the mixture with cinnamon, wintergreen, and orange essential oil. 
  • Stir with a spoon and store in an air-tight jar.

  • Add salt, coconut, and lavender oil in a bowl and stir well.  
  • Store the mixture in a small mason jar. 
  • Fill the tub with warm water and 4-5 tsp bath salt.
